Church hurt is the emotional and psychological pain experienced as a result of negative experiences within a religious community. It stems from situations where someone feels betrayed, rejected, judged, or mistreated by fellow church members or leaders.

This type of hurt can result in feelings of isolation, disillusionment and cause questioning of beliefs and relationship with God.
