What A Session Is Like

About

A session with me is a safe, supportive space where you’re invited to show up just as you are—no need to have it all figured out, there is zero judgement. Together, we’ll explore the emotions, patterns, and experiences that are weighing you down, with a focus on uncovering the root causes of your pain rather than just managing symptoms. Whatever you're working through, sessions are collaborative and paced to match your comfort. I integrate evidence-based approaches with a trauma-informed lens, helping you gain insight, feel more grounded, and move toward healing and empowerment.

First Session

In our first session, I take time to get to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll explore your concerns, begin identifying patterns, and work together to set meaningful therapeutic goals. It’s a collaborative, judgment-free space designed to help you feel seen, heard, and supported from the start.

The Therapy Process

Therapy is a process that unfolds over time, starting with consistent weekly sessions to build trust, gain insight, and create momentum toward your goals. As you begin to feel stronger, more clear, and confident in your growth, we’ll gradually space sessions out to support long-term healing and independence. The pace is always tailored to your needs and progress.

Scheduling

To schedule a session or reach out, you’re welcome to contact me through the website, email, phone call, or text—whatever feels easiest for you. I typically respond most quickly to email or text. If you'd like to connect first. Once we set a time for your first session, I’ll email a few secure forms to complete ahead of time, including basic demographics, insurance information (if using), and a brief intake to help me understand what’s bringing you in.

Noteworthy

I’m a Christian and my faith informs who I am, but I’m not a “Christian counselor” in the traditional sense. I work with clients of all backgrounds and only integrate faith into sessions if it’s important to you.

I also believe it's important to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with. It may or may not be me, and that's ok. This is your life and it's important for you to find someone who you believe will be the best fit for you and your desired goals.
